Shadowflame Crest is a new type of currency in WoW Dragonflight, used to upgrade the item level of your gear. There are 4 tiers of Shadowflame Crests: Whelpling's, Drake's, Wyrm's, and Aspect's – each next one being more powerful but also harder to obtain. You can upgrade your ilvl up to 441, or recraft some items up to 447 item level.
These Crests can be found mostly in either Mythic+ dungeons or during raiding. First, you will need to obtain 15 Shadowflame Crest Fragments of a chosen tier, which can then be combined into a single Shadowflame Crest of that type.
With our help, you can get the exact amount of Shadowflame Crests you need, of whatever type you wish, without needing to farm them yourself. On top of that, you'll get to keep any other rewards that may drop during the farming!
You can get a preferred amount of any of the Shadowflame Crests. Here is a list of them, as well as the activities required for them to drop:
- Whelpling's Shadowflame Crest - Aberrus (LFR), Mythic dungeons (+2 to +5), world quests, rare elite enemies, Spinsoa vendor;
- Drake's Shadowflame Crest - Aberrus (Normal), Mythic dungeons (+6 to +10), Zaralek Cavern weekly quests, rare elite enemies, Spinsoa vendor;
- Wyrm's Shadowflame Crest - Aberrus (Heroic), Mythic dungeons (+11 to +15);
- Aspect's Shadowflame Crest - Aberrus (Mythic), Mythic dungeons (+16 or higher).
You can upgrades items from Adventurer 5/8 tier all the way to Hero 5/5, depending on the type of Shadowflame Crest. Mythic items (441 ilvl+) CANNOT be upgraded with Shadowflame Crests!
